Preparing for the Exam for Long-Term Permit: 161 Questions Testing your Knowledge about Cyprus

Our portal has several versions of the test for knowledge of Cyprus. They were created by Olesya Sergeevna Boyko, a teacher of Greek at the Russian Cultural Center, for her private lectures.

This test should be taken by all those preparing to take the Greek language state exam.

We organized all the questions into seven major groups: history, religion, traditions, geography, politics, institutions/infrastructure, and vocabulary. Six categories are self-explanatory, while the last one contains questions that test your knowledge of terms related to the country's traditions.

DISCLAIMER: The exam questions and answers may be worded slightly differently than in this article, but they are the same. We have assumed that examinees have sufficient knowledge of Greek to understand the question and proposed answers. However, for ease of preparation and to avoid misunderstandings with translation, we have given the Greek version of the answers in brackets where we deem it appropriate.
