Residents of the town will have until 31 January 2025 to pay their debts without incurring additional charges.
After this date, according to local legislation, the Municipality will start charging a penalty of 10 per cent of the outstanding amount in accordance with the current legislation. The Municipality has noted that all sewerage bills will now be sent by e-mail only. Citizens who have not yet received their bills are advised to contact the Larnaca District Municipal Organisation (EOA) immediately on 24-501000.
There are several ways to pay the tax:
- through the official website of the EOA

- in person, at the Larnaca EOA tills located in the former Water Department building (Monday-Friday, 07:45-14:00, 12 Adamanthiou Koray Street);
- in person, at the Citizens' Service Centre located in the former headquarters of the Larnaca Cooperative Savings Bank (Monday-Friday, 08:00-13:30, Andreas Miaoulis Street).

As a reminder, the sewerage maintenance tax is paid once a year by property owners in Cyprus. The amount is approximately 50-80 Euros. It should be noted that if the property is rented out on a long-term basis, this payment is covered by the tenant. There are other taxes that you should be aware of before buying or renting a property in Cyprus.
