Cyagama Ltd has submitted an application to the Cyprus Department of Environment for the construction of a new large complex called Westminster Residences in Germasogeia (Limassol).
According to the release, the project involves the construction of a 17-storey high-rise and two detached 4-storey buildings, framing the high-rise, in one of the most prestigious areas of the city, just 700 meters from the sea.
It is expected that the 81-meter building will house residential apartments, a gym, a hammam, changing rooms, storage facilities, a room for electromechanical equipment, and a roof garden with a swimming pool. In addition, a parking lot for 44 cars is provided on the basement floor of the building. Around the complex will also be equipped with a ground parking for 52 parking spaces.
Thus, the total number of available parking spaces in the complex will increase to 110, of which 9 will be allocated for people with disabilities.
The individual buildings flanking the main building will be outwardly mirror images of each other. Their height will be about 18 m. The buildings will house residential apartments, storage rooms, rooms for electromechanical equipment, outdoor pools on the 3rd and 4th floors. Each house will have a parking lot for 7 cars.
It should be noted that the total area of the building site will be 7,925 m2, the total coverage area will be 2,718 m2, and the total area of buildings will be 9,663 m2.
The area around the site will be planted with endemic / native trees. Low vegetation will be planted east and west of the main basin.
The need for personnel to carry out work on the construction site is estimated at an average of 200 people. These people will be of different specialties. After the completion of the project, about 300 people will live in the complex.
The aim of the project, according to MEEP, is to meet part of the housing needs of the wider area of the municipality of Germasogeia. The operation of Westminster Residences is expected to attract locals and tourists and further strengthen the area by enhancing its socio-economic character.
