Aman Residences Tokyo (Japan)

Investment and construction company Aman recently unveiled Aman Residences, a new residential development in the capital of Japan. Due to the country's high population density, high incomes and limited space, property in Japan is expensive. And if a Japanese lives in an apartment larger than a Soviet television set, his life can be considered a success. In building the complex, chief architect Yabu Pushelberg used a tried and tested combination of European and Asian elements. Aman Residences occupies the 54th to 64th floors of Tokyo's 330-metre Mori JP Tower and is the tallest residential complex in Japan. It comprises 91 apartments plus penthouses, each occupying half of the top two floors.

The building is designed to provide residents with privacy and tranquillity in the world's largest metropolis. Some of the apartments have private swimming pools and terraces to add to the authentic comfort. Aman Residences offers residents a gymnasium, games and tea rooms, a restaurant, a spa with a 25-metre swimming pool, a cinema and a library. A 24-hour concierge service is available, including business jet hire. The rooftop garden, which overlooks Tokdo, provides the privacy the Japanese demand. In creating the serene interiors of stone, glass and natural wood, Yabu Pushelberg was inspired by nature, a key element of Japanese art and design. In his words, 'residents of Aman Residences literally float in the Tokyo sky with views of the bay, city and neighbourhood.

Russian Seasons Residential Community (Russia)

Raising the bar on luxury and comfort, Russian Seasons is an exclusive residential complex located in Moscow's historic Zamoskvorechye district. It comprises 11 buildings ranging from three to seven storeys. There are 99 apartments in the project, including 7 penthouses, each of which has its own name. The main idea of the construction was to experience all the advantages of suburban life in the centre of a huge metropolis: green areas, spaciousness and lack of city bustle, silence and personal space outside the house. To achieve this goal, the famous architect Pavel Andreev, who had previously restored the central Detsky Mir, the famous GUM, the Bolshoi Theatre and the fire-damaged Manege, was involved in the construction. The complex blends very harmoniously and cleanly into the architecture of the area, given the concentration of historic villas, monuments and churches.

The facades are finished in natural stone quarried in Portugal, and the public spaces are decorated with works of art. Residents have access to a gym and beauty salon, classrooms for children's education, a restaurant, cigar and wine rooms, and underground parking. Large outdoor terraces add to the enjoyment of living and offer beautiful views of the city. Each building has a professional concierge and the entire 2 acre complex is heated. Russian Seasons is a landmark project that combines deep historical traditions with the most advanced technological solutions.

Mirador Residence (Switzerland)

The avant-garde Mirador Residence is located in Lugano, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Ceresio, and covers an area of 8,000 m2. Designed by Studio Mino Caggiula Architects, it blends harmoniously into the surrounding natural landscape with its terraced architecture on different levels. In the first phase, the builders drained and reinforced the hill on which the complex is located, consisting of 44 apartments ranging from 80 m2 to 272 m2. The interiors are finished with high quality materials combined with natural wood furniture. Each apartment has an individual design by the author, and panoramic windows and spacious terraces provide airiness and access to breathtaking views of the lake. A gym has been provided for each residence, in accordance with the owners' wishes.

The result of this team effort can be described in a few words: beauty, elegance and comfort. Residents have access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa centre, a hammam and a large tennis hall. Parking and a 24-hour concierge service are also available. Seen from the air, the Mirador Residence is surrounded by a dense forest, and the group of buildings itself resembles a green cascade descending towards the lake. The historical centre of Lugano is within walking distance. The complex is particularly attractive to those who appreciate tranquillity, nature, a healthy lifestyle and an exceptionally clean ecology. The project has received many of the most prestigious European awards for its original architecture and respect for the natural environment.

Mount Nicholson, The Peak (Hong Kong)

Hong Kong is China's most developed special administrative region. On the one hand, local property prices are influenced by the fact that the city is one of the world's largest stock exchange, trading, logistics and banking centres. On the other hand, Hong Kong's limited territory and the resulting high population density.

Mount Nicholson, a luxury residential complex, is located on the top of the mountain of the same name in the Wanchai district of the city, overlooking Victoria Bay. It is believed that the mountain was named in honour of a brave officer of the Hong Kong Volunteer Corps, Nicholson. Surrounded by dense forest, the complex is far from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis and occupies a very favourable location, not only from an urban planning point of view, but also from an ecological point of view. It consists of two 12-storey buildings with 48 spacious apartments and 19 townhouses with private swimming pools, gardens and roof terraces.

The international company THE WHARF/NAN FUNG, which is the developer and builder of the project, took care of the high quality construction, interior design and decoration of the premises. Panoramic glazing is used extensively in the buildings, which are bathed in warm light colours. A comfortable clubhouse, restaurant, car park, security and concierge services are available to residents. Several prestigious schools with high standards of education are located nearby. Mount Nicholson is a perfect example of luxury and comfort in harmony with nature.
