ZIKZAK Architects have completed the office of an international IT company in Limassol.
The interior is special because it combines a variety of spaces that stimulate creativity and increase the productivity of the team. The company's employees are currently working in the new office.
A monotonous environment is detrimental to creativity and we tried to avoid this. The interior design offers a range of impressions depending on the zone. This technique helps to break the monotony of the environment and increase the efficiency of work,' explains Alesya Karnauhova, CEO of ZIKZAK Architects.
The lobby is reminiscent of the sea, thanks to the smooth textured surfaces and natural tones, while luminaires in the form of inflatable circles complete the associative series. The reception on the other floor supports the concept of the fluidity of sea waves and sandy coastline. The WOW effect is created by an accent luminaire decorated with layers of ringlets. Next to the panoramic window is a cosy waiting area for guests.
In the open space, the emphasis is on acoustic comfort, with sound-absorbing panels, textile inserts in the cabinetry, acoustic curtains and tiled carpets in the meeting rooms.
A variety of seating options allows the working environment to change throughout the day. Work desks are located near large windows with natural light and separated from the transit area by bollards with greenery.
In the offices, the overall austerity of the forms is softened by curvilinear desk tops, introducing an element of play and surprise. And the laconic fronts of the cabinet furniture create suprematic compositions thanks to the colours.
Large islands for short-term teamwork in the middle of the transit zones are designed to allow teams to meet and brainstorm at any time. The islands are aesthetically demarcated by curved luminaires and curtains, while concise plant elements separate them from the corridors.
Confidential small meeting rooms, phone booths, large meeting rooms, classic offices, work islands, cosy lounges - the different zones offer a wide variety of options for employees.
The catering areas were designed to evoke the atmosphere of an oriental coffee shop, with its characteristic round shapes and bonsai trees. Bright accents, modern materials and dynamic shapes were added. And the open terraces have been transformed into real squares with pergola-style lounge areas. There are high desks with panoramic views, dining areas separated by screens and sports areas. At night, all this beauty is illuminated by spectacular soft lighting.
The new office is a driving force for creativity and productivity for the employees of the IT company.
The team has already experienced all the benefits of a multifunctional and comfortable workspace. This is another practical example of a company investing in its most valuable resource - its people.
