Lanomex Ltd has submitted an updated project for the construction of the Larnaca Tower skyscraper to the Cyprus Department of Environment.
According to the release, the building will have 28 floors. It will be erected next to Finikoudes Alley, on the site of Hobos Restaurant.
The height of the tower will reach 109 meters. It will be equipped with apartments, commercial premises, restaurants, offices and a health center. The total construction area will be 4,585 m2.
It should be noted that this is the second attempt to build Larnaca Tower. The first application from the Russian investor concerned the construction of a 30-storey high-rise building and a 10-storey 5-star hotel. However, the attempt to realize a large-scale project was unsuccessful. The department did not approve its development. The project was put aside in a drawer for 2 years.
As expected, after obtaining all licenses, the developer will immediately start its implementation.
The construction period will be about two years. The project will be located on the first coastline, just 250 meters from the new Larnaca Marina.
It should be noted that Larnaca Tower will be the tallest building in the city. This title is currently held by the 16-storey Radisson Blue Hotel.
