In the Pyrgos area of Limassol, a new multifunctional complex is planned under the name Wolga Residence & Resort, which will combine residential, tourist, and sports facilities, as well as leisure zones. On Wednesday, September 24, the Cyprus Department of Environment announced the launch of a public consultation period. Until October 24, any resident of the city can express their opinion regarding this ambitious investment project, initiated by Jomento Properties Ltd.
A New Hub for Life and Leisure in Limassol
According to preliminary estimates, the total project budget is €45 million, and construction is expected to take about three years. It will be carried out in two phases, allowing for the gradual creation of all necessary infrastructure and attracting investors.
The new complex will serve as a prime example of mixed-use development, incorporating residential buildings, a modern hotel, and various entertainment facilities. A new road network will also be created on the premises, connecting the resort to the existing highway and ensuring easy access.
Architecture and Residential Features
The project will include three residential buildings with apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, each with its own private pool. Residents will also benefit from designated parking areas, landscaped courtyards, and communal walking areas.
Hotel and Tourist Sector
At the heart of the development will be a modern hotel with 80 rooms, accommodating up to 160 guests. In addition to high-end accommodations, the hotel will feature restaurants, bars, and relaxation zones both indoors and outdoors.
Sports and Recreation Facilities
The project places special emphasis on active lifestyles. Wolga Residence & Resort will feature a sports center with:
- 8 tennis courts
- 8 paddle tennis courts
- A mini football field
- A basketball court
Clubhouse facilities
In total, six swimming pools of various sizes and formats will be built, providing residents and guests with a variety of swimming and relaxation options.
Green Areas and Environmental Considerations
One of the key highlights of the project is a green area covering nearly 8,000 m², which will include walking trails and relaxation zones. According to the environmental study, the project includes the demolition of old buildings and the creation of new utility networks and road infrastructure that comply with sustainability and eco-development standards.
Opportunities for Investors and Residents
The Wolga Residence & Resort project is set to not only enhance Limassol’s appeal as a tourist destination, but also offer new opportunities for investors. With its location in a prestigious coastal area, modern residential solutions, well-developed infrastructure, and focus on active and healthy living, the complex will be especially attractive to both property buyers and holidaymakers.
