Construction work on the radical renovation and complete modernization of the Palm Beach Hotel in Larnaca continues at an impressive pace.
On Thursday, February 1, the architectural firm Skordas Design Studio, which developed the project, shared photos of the future hotel.
In turn, the company Psaras Constructions, which undertook the work on the renovation of the tourist complex, posted a video on social media showing the progress of the transformation of the hotel into a 5-star resort.
Recall that the project includes:
- Construction of a 9-story residential high-rise with 56 apartments.
- Construction of an underground parking lot for 214 parking spaces.
- Construction of a 4-storey apartment building for 28 luxury apartments in condominium format.
- Construction of an open-air restaurant in the hotel garden.
- Expansion of the hotel restaurant.
- Renovation and reconstruction of existing bungalows.

In the context of modernization and improvement of the hotel infrastructure and services provided, the project envisages the following changes:
Zone 1: Bungalows
- Renovation of the existing 40 bungalows and the large lagoon-shaped swimming pool and common areas.
- Demolition of the existing dining room (Block C).
- Construction of a new high-quality spa center.
Zone 2: Extension-Construction of an open-air themed restaurant in the hotel garden.
Zone 3: Extension-Construction of a 9-story building called Residence Tower.
The high-rise will include 56 apartments, and common and support spaces. The construction of the Residence Tower requires the demolition of part of the north wing of the hotel.
Zone 4: Conversion-Expansion of the existing restaurant and remodeling of the exterior spaces.
Zone 5: Addition-Construction of a 4-story building.
A condominium block that will include 28 apartments (condominiums), common areas, and restaurant on the first floor, indoor pool in the basement. The existing building that houses the indoor pool and squash court will be demolished.
Zone 6: Earthwork and construction of a new 216-space underground parking garage, on the boundaries of the existing site and tennis courts to be rehabilitated.
The project is expected to take 6 years to complete. The works are divided into three phases.
The cost of the project is estimated at more than 10 million euros.
