Cyprus Architecture, Property & Interior Design Awards ceremony took place in Cyprus.
They examined some characteristics of buildings in Cyprus, such as their composition, operation, construction, aesthetics and usefulness to people and society. Also important advantages were the integration with the environment, as well as on the use of materials and environmentally friendly technologies.
This year, the TOP-6 best works included:
SMALTO dental clinic in Strovolos (Nicosia). The creation by George Hadjichristou Architects won the Pioneering Innovation Project nomination.
Volcano store in Strovolos (Nicosia). The project received an award in the category "Project for a special interior impression". The space was designed by the Möb DESIGN Studio team in collaboration with the owner of the building.
WELL58-house residential building in Nicosia got the statuette as a "New Generation Inspiration Project". The project was implemented by the architectural bureau EKKY Studio Architects in cooperation with the architects of London-based Supernova Studio.
The new cruise passenger terminal in the port of Limassol gat an award in the category “Architectural Top Project”. The author of the project is Irwin Kritioti.
The Limassol Marina project won in the category "Land Development Company Project". The contractor for the project, which is still under construction, is Limassol Marina Ltd, which includes AVACH SA, Fragoudi & Stefanou Ltd, Cybarco Ltd, LMDC Ltd, G Paraskevaides Ltd and Stamoland Properties Ltd.
A House with Four Gardens in Nicosia has been awarded the title of Green Environmental Awareness Project. The project was implemented by the architects Christian Ioannou and Christos Papastergiu.
