On Monday 26 July, Ayia Napa's new marina announced the official opening of their commercial zone.
Now visitors to the marina can access not only the Coffee Berry, but also the Riva Beachouse, as well as the specially designed Crew Lounge for the crew of boats. A spacious 4-level parking lot has also been opened on the territory of the marina.
It is worth noting that the Coffee Berry store from the Zorpas Group has been operating in the marina since May last year. The building, with a unique view of the marina, has a renewed architecture and a modern aesthetic and minimalist design. In addition to coffee, visitors are offered various snacks, sandwiches and pastries.
The Crew Lounge, which has been in operation since early July, provides boat owners, crew, renters, visitors and marina staff with a carefully designed lounge and dining area. Here you can find high quality coffee, drinks and a variety of hot and cold dishes. All Crew Lounge visitors enjoy free Wi-Fi.
The new Riva Beachouse, open all day, is located on the west side of the marina.
This is the perfect place for a summer vacation. Riva Beachouse has its own pool and direct access to the organized beach. At the restaurant, you can taste delicious culinary specialties developed by renowned chef Dimitris Katrivesis.
The commercial zone has also recently added a 24/7 cash withdrawal service in partnership with Onexchange SA.
Marina guests can use the new car park, which is located in the heart of the shopping area. The parking lot has four floors and can accommodate over 550 cars. It is noteworthy that until December 2021, visitors to the marina can use the parking absolutely free.
Finally, in August, the Alfamega store will open in the marina.
It will be the only store to serve tenants, visitors, boat owners and crews at the new marina. The supermarket with a total area of 200 m2 will be open daily from 8 am to 10 pm.
We are delighted that the shopping area of the new Ayia Napa Marina has finally opened to the public. I am proud of the success of Ayia Napa Marina, which promotes Cyprus, strengthens the national economy and at the same time contributes to the development of maritime tourism in the Famagusta area, '' said Stavros Caramondanis, CEO of M.M. Makronisos Marina Ltd.
According to Caramondanis, the interest of large companies in the commercial zone of the project will stimulate the local economy and create new jobs.
It is expected that the shopping area, which will become a pole of attraction and an entertainment center for shopping, food and entertainment, will be constantly enriched with new partnerships with shops, cafes, restaurants.
As you may know, the exclusive resort and residential complex Ayia Napa Marina is an example of an upscale, sophisticated lifestyle, a natural part of which is freedom of travel across the sea.
Located in an ecologically clean, picturesque natural environment with magnificent beaches, crystal clear sea, breathtaking views, the marina creates an elite club of luxury privacy. Ayia Napa Marina complex unites luxury residential residences, a world-class yacht harbor with a full cycle of ship services, a full coastal infrastructure for recreation, entertainment, and social life.
Ayia Napa Marina is expected to become one of the world's leading yachting destinations in the future. Upon completion of the project, the marina will provide docking capacity for 400 boats on the water, Dry Stack services for 160 boats up to 10 meters in length, and service areas for 80 additional boats.
The project is the embodiment of the dreams and intentions of two partners - Cypriot businessman Gerasimos Caramondanis and Egyptian investor Naguib Sawiris.
The businessmen have joined forces to develop a long-term strategic plan to set new standards for luxury coastal yachting developments.
In addition to marinas and commercial properties, the project includes 3 villa complexes with private marinas or beach access. Among them are:
- Island Villas. A complex of 12 villas on an artificial island with berths. Includes 3, 4 or 5 bedroom mansions. These unique homes are designed with large floor-to-ceiling windows to provide owners with natural light and stunning marina views. They are built to the highest aesthetic standards, with carefully thought-out interiors, excellent materials and equipment, which will provide owners with a comfortable indoor and outdoor life.
- Peninsula Marina Villas complex of 12 villas. Comprising 3-bedroom mansions that occupy the eastern shore of the man-made peninsula, combine the convenience of beachfront accommodation with the freedom of sailing from a dock in the courtyard, providing unobstructed sea views. The large glass area of the villas and the modern open plan will allow their owners to literally let the surrounding nature into the house.
- Beach Villas complex of 11 villas. Includes comfortable 3, 4 or 5 bedroom mansions. The complex occupies the western coast of an artificial peninsula. Villa owners have exclusive access to a magnificent sandy beach, created especially for the residents of the complex.
All villas are designed in the same elegant minimalist architectural style.
The outer laconic aesthetics of the building structure will intensify the emphasis on expensive, natural materials and ideally lines. When designing buildings, preference was given primarily to functionality, convenience and comfort.
The project's team of architects set themselves the task of combining old and new elements. Historic architecture may have its own charm, they said, but modern architecture has the ability to inspire.
