The number of investment organizations and their assets is gradually increasing in Cyprus, as evidenced by recent data from the country's Central Bank.

Of these, 3,043.5 million euros accounted for equity, 711.4 million euros for real estate, 1,301.3 million euros for mixed investments and 225.4 million euros for bonds.
It is noteworthy that most of the investment assets in Cyprus are open.

As you may know, over the past 12 years, the number of investment organizations in the country has increased fourfold at once.
The total assets of these organizations at the end of December 2020 amounted to 5.62 billion euros. This is almost 440% more than in 2008, when the value of all assets did not exceed 1.27 billion euros.
The largest share of assets was represented by shares, the total value of which is almost 4 billion euros. Non-financial assets amounted to 317.6 million euros. Deposits and loans accounted for 702.5 million euros, and securities accounted for 367.6 million euros. It is worth noting that Cypriot investment funds invest mainly in stocks (investments of almost 2 billion euros) and real estate in Cyprus (745.7 million euros). Mixed investments are also popular (630.5 million euros). In the last place in terms of investments are bonds (189.3 million euros).

The development of the investment funds sector in Cyprus leads to an increase in tax revenues, creates specialized jobs and attracts wealthy foreign specialists to the country.
