Consulting firm Ask WiRE has conducted a new study analysing the sales of expensive properties in Cyprus, highlighting the ten largest residential transactions completed in July 2024.
The total value of these properties was €27.2 million. And the most expensive property sold last month was in Paphos - a house in the Peyia district worth €5.35 million. At the same time, contracts were signed for the sale of a plot of land in Peyia for €4.5 million and a villa in Kato Paphos for €1.7 million.
Limassol was the leader in the number of transactions involving expensive properties in July 2024. In this Cypriot city, 6 properties were sold for a total of €14.3 million. These included a warehouse (€4 million), two plots of land (€2.8 million and €1.5 million), an office (€2.34 million) and two villas (€2.33 million and €1.33 million). Another expensive property was completed in Nicosia - a plot of land for €1.38 million.
Interestingly, in July 2024, 50 properties were sold in Cyprus with prices starting from 1 million euro.
Their total value exceeded EUR 55 million. At the same time, 34.3% of the value of these sales were 10 properties in Limassol, while 30.2% were 10 properties in Paphos, 6.1% were 10 properties in the free areas of Famagusta, 14.7% were 10 properties in Larnaca and 14.7% were 10 properties in Nicosia.
The total value of the ten most expensive properties in Limassol in July 2024 was €19.1 million, in Larnaca €8.2 million, in Nicosia €8.3 million, in Paphos €16.8 million and in the free areas of Famagusta €3.4 million.
