Ask Wire has published a new report analysing the sales of expensive properties in Cyprus and highlighting the biggest deals that took place in April 2024.
As it turns out, the most expensive property was sold in Paphos - a luxury villa in the Kouklia area worth €3 million.
On the other hand, Limassol was the leader in terms of the number of contracts concluded for the purchase of expensive properties in April. This Cypriot city accounted for 6 out of 10 transactions, with a total value of €10.3 million. These included:
- a house in Pano Platres for €2.6 million
- A plot of land in Agios Ambrosios for €2.1 million;
- An apartment in Mutaiak for €1.73 million;
- a house in Mutaiak for €1.5 million;
- a plot of land in Agios Athanasios for €1.4 million;
- an apartment in Agia Zoni for €930,000.
In Nicosia, the only land sold in April was in Strovolos for €1 million. In Paphos, two more deals were concluded for the sale and purchase of a house and land in the Kissonerga area for €950,000 each.
The company noted that in April 2024 in Cyprus there were 50 properties sold, valued from 500 thousand euros for a total of more than 35.6 million euros.
At the same time, 37.1% of the value of these sales came from the 10 most expensive properties sold in Limassol, followed by Paphos (27.5%), Nicosia (15.4%), Larnaca (11.5%) and the free areas of Famagusta (8.4%). In monetary terms, the ten most expensive properties were sold for €13.2 million in Limassol, €9.8 million in Paphos, €4.1 million in Larnaca, €5.5 million in Nicosia and €3 million in the free areas of Famagusta.
