Consulting firm Ask WiRE has carried out a new study analysing the sales of expensive properties in Cyprus, highlighting the ten largest residential deals concluded in September 2024.
It turns out that the total value of these properties was €29.8 million. The most expensive property was sold in Limassol - a plot of land in the Germasoya neighbourhood for €5 million. At the same time, Limassol was the leader in the number of contracts concluded for the purchase of expensive properties in September. This Cypriot city accounted for 6 out of 10 transactions, with a total value of €18.56 million. In addition to a plot of land, these included:
- A house in the Agios Tyhonas district for 4.2 million euro;
- three apartments in the Agios Nektarios area for €2.5 million, €2.33 million and €2.33 million respectively;
- a villa in the Parekklisha area for €2.2 million.
In Nicosia, a block of flats in the Dali area sold for €2.96 million in September. Two more deals involving expensive properties in Paphos. In this city, a villa in the Kouklia area sold for €4.15 million and a mansion in the Kato Paphos area sold for €2.35 million. Finally, in Larnaca, in September 2024, it sold a plot of land in the Oroklini area for 1.8 million euros.
The company noted that in September 2024, 50 luxury properties were sold in Cyprus, priced from 500 thousand euros for a total of more than 57.5 million euros.
At the same time, 43% of the value of these sales was attributed to the 10 most expensive properties sold in Limassol, followed by Paphos (22.8%), Larnaca (14.4%), Nicosia (13.9%) and the free areas of Famagusta (5.9%).
In monetary terms, the ten most expensive properties were sold for €24.7 million in Limassol, €13.1 million in Paphos, €8.3 million in Larnaca, €8 million in Nicosia and €3.4 million in the free areas of Famagusta.
