Ask Wire has conducted a new study in which it analyzed the sales of expensive real estate in Cyprus and highlighted the biggest deals that were concluded in January 2024.
As it turned out, the most expensive property was sold again in Limassol - a plot of land with a building standing on it in the Germasoya neighborhood for €2.97 million.
Moreover, this city of Cyprus was the leader in January by the number of concluded contracts of sale of expensive real estate. Limassol accounted for 5 out of 10 transactions, the total value of which amounted to 7.54 million euros. Among them: villa, apartment and plots of land.
In addition, in January 2024, two expensive objects were realized in Paphos: a villa worth 2.2 million euros and an unfinished house worth 900 thousand euros. In Nicosia, a luxury apartment was sold for 900 thousand euros, and in Larnaca, a plot of land for 1.6 million euros and a telecommunications station for 1.07 million euros.

The company noted that in January 2024 Cyprus sold about 50 objects worth 500 thousand euros or more for a total of 34.4 million euros.
At the same time, 32% of the value of these sales were the 10 most expensive properties sold in Limassol, followed by Paphos (22.4%), Larnaca (21.2%), Nicosia (18%) and the free areas of Famagusta (8.4%). In monetary terms, the ten most expensive properties in Limassol were sold for €11 million, in Paphos for €7.7 million, in Larnaca for €7.3 million, in Nicosia for €5.5 million and in the free areas of Famagusta for €2.8 million.
