On Monday, October 4, Hermes Airports held the grand opening of the renovated retail space.
The modernization lasted almost 2 years and cost Hermes Airports 20 million euros. In total, 11 retail stores and 11 food service areas have been renovated at Larnaca Airport, covering an area of 6,731 m2. Now they are united by a common concept of Cypriot culture and architecture.
It should be noted that at the entrance to the terminal, passengers are now greeted by an art installation by Cypriot artist Maria Loizidou 'Flying Travelers'.
Hermes Airports noted that the main goal was to help increase passenger numbers as well as improve the overall travel experience for tourists in Cyprus.
