The Icon, an impressive 21-storey, 125m high beachfront building in Limassol, has won a prestigious international award.
The residential project won the LIT Lighting Design Awards 2023 in the Residential Lighting Design category.
The lighting design of the Cypriot skyscraper was carried out by Sigala-lighting, a company based in Athens. Inspired by the unique shape of The Icon, the architectural company's vision for the project centered on the idea of recreating the effect of a sparkling diamond. Thanks to a smart lighting system, Sigala-lighting was able to maximize the similarity. At the same time, the company ensured proper maintenance of the lighting system, which is achieved through the innovative Electron SA luminaire technology.
