After prolonged debates, the Cyprus Parliament has approved the relocation of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Insurance to the commercial skyscraper 'Metropolitan' in the capital.
Starting from September 1, 2023, the ministry will commence its operations at the new address. Despite objections from the Audit Office, the building for the ministry was allocated 25.4 million euros.
It is worth noting that the commercial skyscraper is located next to the Eurobank headquarters, right in the heart of Nicosia, on Spyros Kyprianou Avenue.
The building, covering an area of 8,984 square meters, boasts 19 floors, including office spaces, a luxurious reception area, mezzanine, an engineering floor, and three spacious underground parking levels.
