On Thursday 20 March, the Cyprus Tax Department issued a reminder that the deadline for filing corporate (T.F.4) and self-employed (T.F.1) tax returns for 2023 is 31 March 2025.
The Department noted that this applies to taxpayers who are not required to file a summary table of transaction information.
It is important to note that those who fail to file on time will not have to pay a fine of 100 euros if the report is received by the tax office before 30 June 2025. On the other hand, for taxpayers obliged to submit a summary table of information on transactions, the deadline for filing the income tax return is 30 November 2025.
Please note that late filing may result in additional penalties and interest. We recommend that you check your returns in advance to avoid unpleasant consequences. Do not leave it until the last moment!
You can declare your income electronically. To do this, you must first register at the tax office in your place of residence (in person is required), where the official responsible will issue you with a Tax Identification Code (TIC) consisting of eight digits and a Latin letter (e.g. 9999999999X).
The applicant will be given a unique 17-digit registration number. You must then create an account on the TaxisNet portal and complete the declaration.
