The Cyprus Department of the Environment has temporarily frozen the application process for the construction of a new high-rise building, Radisson Residences in Larnaca.
As it turned out, the company Savvas Kakos and Associates, which owns the project, did not provide additional information requested in June 2020.
As you may know, according to the release, the project provides for the construction of a 19-storey high-rise of a 69.22 m height. The total area of residential buildings is 2239 m2.
From the 5th to the 19th floor, there should be 59 luxurious apartments in the Radisson Residences, from the first to the fourth - a cafeteria, a reception area, office premises, 1 gym, 1 swimming pool, a multifunctional space, and on the two lower levels there is a spacious parking for 146 cars.

In total, the complex is designed for 150-160 people (including residents, staff, visitors).
The construction site of the proposed project is located about 1.5 km north of the center of the municipality of Larnaca, 370 m northwest of the port and about 2 km southeast of the residential center of the municipality of Livadia.
Overall, there is intense activity in the study area with a significant number of tourist residential complexes, cafes, commercial facilities, Larnaca port and other public infrastructure.
