During the first phase of the Blu Marine project, environmental barriers were encountered.
Μore groundwater has been identified than originally anticipated. As a consequence, it was necessary to modify the drainage system by laying the pipeline to the sea.
The Cyprus Department of the Environment has requested additional research on water resources. The Department of Fisheries and Marine Research, in its turn, stated that it won't object to the implementation of the project, if there is a program for monitoring the quality of seawater and bottom sediments.
As you may know, Blu Marine is the first large project in the western part of Limassol, which has long remained in oblivion.

The Department of Environment approved the construction of the facility in July 2021.
The project will include 247 apartments with sea views, located in three towers, which will consist of 33, 29 and 5 floors.
