The construction of the new Paralimni Marina is steadily approaching completion. According to PMV Maritime Holdings CEO Anthoulis Kountouris, all port-related works were fully completed by early November. This allows the project to move into its next phase, which includes the installation of modern floating docks and the setup of service infrastructure. Kountouris noted that the docks are being manufactured in Italy, and due to the volume and complexity of the structures, their delivery will take place in stages. Based on current estimates, the installation process will take around six months.
Handover of commercial areas and infrastructure
In early 2026, commercial spaces are expected to be handed over to food and beverage businesses so they can begin interior works and equipment installation. Meanwhile, construction of the building that will host government services, as well as the fuel station, is nearing completion. Both facilities are in the final stages of preparation and are expected to be officially delivered at the beginning of 2026.
Progress on residential and hotel units
The residential units of the project have entered the final finishing stage, with flooring and window systems being installed. The last building of the complex — the future hotel block — is also being actively developed. This hotel will become an important addition to the region’s tourism sector.
A new point of attraction for the region
Kountouris emphasized that the Paralimni Marina will become a major growth driver for the entire region. The upgraded infrastructure and wide range of high-quality services will help reduce tourism seasonality and attract a more demanding audience, strengthening maritime tourism and supporting local businesses. The marina will serve as an official sea entry point to Cyprus and will have capacity for up to 300 yachts and boats.
The commercial zone of the future complex will include two cafés, four restaurants, a mini-market, and three retail shops, providing visitors with a full range of amenities and creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs.
