The municipal library in the village of Achna, in the Ayia Napa district, is to be modernised.
This was announced by the local municipality.
In particular, the mayor's office said that the contract with the company carrying out the work had recently been signed. The project has been entrusted to Stavros Andronikou & Son. As well as renovating the old building, the modernisation will include the construction of a playground and the design of a roundabout in the Ayia Napa community, as well as the repair of the fountain.
The estimated cost of the works is €71,997.
The playground at the public library will be equipped with toys that meet the required international standards. The Ayia Napa Municipality will continue to implement similar projects on its territory, contributing to the progress of development of all municipal districts and improving the quality of life of residents, - reported in the municipality.
Recall that earlier the President of Cyprus Nicos Christodoulidis said that more than 122 million euros will be invested in the development of Free neighbourhoods of Famagusta. According to him, about 30 major infrastructure projects will be implemented in the region, which will change the quality of life of the residents for the better.
