Consulting firm Ask WiRE has carried out a new study analysing the sales of expensive properties in Cyprus, highlighting the ten largest residential deals concluded in August 2024.
The total value of these properties was €20.9 million. The most expensive property was sold in Limassol - a house in the Agios Tikhonas district for €5.4 million. At the same time, the city also signed contracts for the sale of two plots of land in the Kato Polemidia area for €2.1 million and €1.35 million. Also in Limassol, a commercial building in the Katholiki area was sold for €1.2 million.
In Paphos, 4 properties were sold in August for a total of €7.53 million. These included two plots of land (€2.3m and €2.15m) and two villas (€1.8m and €1.28m) in the areas of Peyia and Agios Theodoros. Another expensive property was completed in Nicosia - an apartment building for €1.7 million in the Strovolos area, and in Larnaca - a house for €1.25 million in the Dromolaxia area.
Interestingly, in August 2024, 50 properties were sold in Cyprus with prices starting from €1 million.
Their total value was €45.6 million. At the same time, 32.9% of the value of these sales were for 10 properties in Limassol, while 27% were for 10 properties in Paphos, 17.3% for 10 properties in Larnaca, 14.5% for 10 properties in Nicosia and 8.3% for 10 properties in the free areas of Famagusta.
The total value of the ten most expensive properties in August 2024 was €15 million in Limassol, €7.9 million in Larnaca, €6.6 million in Nicosia, €12.3 million in Paphos and €3.8 million in the free areas of Famagusta.
