A new hotel called Maris Grand Waterpark Resort will open in Protaras in May 2025.
The new hotel complex will be part of the Marismare Hotels chain, which operates hotels, hotel apartments and holiday villages in Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paphos.
Maris Grand Waterpark Resort will operate out of the former Artemis Hotel. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and will offer 188 comfortable rooms: 144 double rooms and 44 family rooms.
For the convenience of its guests, the hotel will have swimming pools, a children's club and a spa centre. There is also a private water park with five slides on the hotel grounds. There is also a chic a la carte Italian restaurant, a lobby bar, a poolside snack bar and a bar in the waterpark area.

The new project aims to enrich and improve the tourism product in the region, attracting quality tourism by increasing the accommodation options in the coastal area of Protaras. The opening of Maris Grand Waterpark Resort is expected to further enrich the economic potential of the region as a whole.
