The Department of Environmental Protection of Cyprus has issued a permit for the expansion of the Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Limassol.
According to the department's release, the 5-star hotel is undergoing a radical transformation.
In particular, two new 10-story towers with 36 and 18 apartments will be constructed on its premises. The first building, 45.70 meters high, will appear in the western part of the hotel complex. In addition to luxurious apartments, it will have a reception, a gym, technical rooms, and spacious underground parking. A separate 2-level commercial facility will also be built nearby. The second building, 49.85 meters high, will be located in the eastern part of the hotel complex. It will feature a reception, technical rooms, and 2 underground levels with parking spaces.
As for the main hotel building, three additional levels will be added, increasing the total height to 7 floors or 31.15 meters. An important element of the project will be the installation of a modern photovoltaic system on the roofs of the eastern and western towers to generate solar energy, with a total area of 342.6 square meters. The hotel will be able to cover 25% of its energy needs through renewable sources.
