A new modern hotel called Sunrise Emerald is opening in the resort town of Protaras. The hotel will become the sixth property in the Sunrise Hotels group portfolio; it is located in the Pernera area, near the famous golden sandy Paralimni beach, one of the most popular holiday destinations on the eastern coast of Cyprus. The opening is scheduled for May, at the beginning of the high tourist season.
The appearance of the new hotel reflects the steady growth of tourist demand in the free areas of Famagusta, where in recent years an increase in bookings and a high level of hotel occupancy have been recorded, especially in the premium leisure segment.

Sunrise Emerald is positioned as a premium all inclusive resort aimed at guests who value comfort, privacy, and a high level of service. The hotel’s concept combines an atmosphere of relaxation, refined elegance, and modern amenities that meet the expectations of an international audience.
Guests are offered spacious deluxe rooms and elegant suites designed in a contemporary style with a focus on comfortable accommodation for both couples and families with children. The culinary concept of Sunrise Emerald includes four restaurants, each offering its own format and cuisine. Among them is a pan-Asian restaurant located on the top floor of the hotel with panoramic views, as well as venues serving Mediterranean and Italian cuisine à la carte. The central buffet restaurant will serve a variety of international dishes adapted to the tastes of guests from different countries.
The hotel infrastructure is complemented by three bars and four pools, including an adults-only pool, a separate children’s pool, an indoor pool, and a spacious main pool. For full relaxation, a modern spa center is provided, making the hotel attractive not only in the summer season but also during off-season periods.
