The owner company Goldsky SH Ltd is openly inviting investors to build the "Mythos" theme park in Paphos province, emphasizing that the interest can be expressed either directly in the company or through Invest Cyprus.
Goldsky SH Ltd is 60% owned by foreign investors from Hong Kong, which owns the popular brand Talking Tom & friends, and 40% by Cypriot investors and is managed by Mr. Savvas Hatziminas.
The project which secured all the required permits if the effort to find an investor succeeds will be constructed in an area of 45,000 sq.m. in Neo Chorio Paphos near Latsi.
The project will include:
- Special boat trips on the artificial river based on Greek Mythology and simulating the journey of Odysseus to Ithaca
- Boat route that will follow Jason's journey to Colchis in which there will be falls from 3.5 and 7 meters high
- Playground with slides, climbing and special toys
- Facilities for a game for groups of four people in which water pistol battles will take place
- Special route where there will be a story about an old copper mine and a building with visual illusions
- Special room for events that can accommodate 1500 people a day
- Restaurant 320 m2 along with cafeteria
- Musical amphitheater with a capacity of up to 800 people with wooden stands
- Cinema of 7 dimensions (7D) for showing a 20-minute video with the history of Cyprus
- Two souvenir shops
- Locker room
- Facilities for the disabled
- 280 parking spaces
- 15 seats for buses
- Ticket sales area 2 m2
- Two offices
- First aid area 17m2
- Administration building 17 m2
The cost of the project for Cyprus is a total of € 11 500 000 with the land and already the investors from Hong Kong and Cypriot investors have invested € 4 500 000 for the purchase of the land, architectural plans, building permits, license agreement and other expenses.
