Mairoza Hotel Apts in Limassol (Germasogeia municipality) abandoned for many years, began to be demolished.
A part of the coastal road with a length of about 80 meters in front of the building was closed for cars.
As expected, the main phase of the demolition of the building will be completed on Friday, February 3, after which the construction of an elite residential high-rise called Mandarin Park will begin on the site. By the way, instead of the ruins of the once popular hotel in the tourist area, city residents will see a modern 16-storey building 71 meters high.
According to the release of the developer company, the first floor of the high-rise building will be given over to offices and shops.
On the second and third floors there will be a recreation area, which will include a gym, sauna and swimming pool, spa. The rest of the floors will feature 36 modern luxury residential apartments, including two luxurious duplex penthouses. There will be also a spacious Roof Garden on the roof of the building.
Residents of the elite building will have access to underground parking for 98 cars and parking for bicycles. The area around the skyscraper will be landscaped, and a new playground will be installed next to the building.
The cost of the project is estimated at 16.3 million euros. It will take about two years to finish it.
