International hospitality group Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean has officially opened the 5-star NALU Latchi by Leonardo Limited Edition resort in Latchi, located on the coastline near the Akamas National Park and the famous Blue Lagoon.
The new hotel represents one of the largest investments in the company’s history and one of the most significant hospitality projects launched in Cyprus in recent years. The total investment amounted to €87 million.
A New Level of Luxury Hospitality in Latchi
The resort’s concept is built around creating a sense of community and belonging for its guests. To achieve this, the complex has been designed as a small resort “village” consisting of 11 separate buildings.
The hotel features 240 contemporary suites. Among its standout accommodations are 87 Swim-Up Junior Suites with direct pool access. Spacious one-bedroom suites accommodating up to five guests are also available, making the resort particularly attractive for families.
Situated directly on the beachfront, the property offers guests immediate access to the sea. Its central leisure area includes a large swimming pool and a floating water park located in the sea itself.
Restaurants Overlooking the Marina
The culinary concept of the new hotel caters to an international audience and combines popular global cuisines. The resort operates three restaurants.
The main restaurant serves Mediterranean and international dishes while offering panoramic views of Latchi Marina. Guests can also enjoy a dedicated Italian restaurant and an Asian dining venue.
The resort additionally features three bars. One of the highlights is a lounge bar overlooking the Blue Lagoon, one of Cyprus’s most iconic natural attractions.
The hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis.

Designed for the Whole Family
Family tourism has become one of the key growth sectors of Cyprus’s hospitality industry in recent years, and the new resort places a strong emphasis on this market.
Children can enjoy dedicated clubs, play areas, mini golf, an open-air cinema, and eco-educational programs focused on the nature of the Akamas region. Various outdoor activities are also available, including climbing features and adventure trails.
For adults, the resort offers relaxation areas around the pools, fitness facilities, yoga spaces, and wellness programs.
The development does not stop with the current phase. The company has already announced the next stage of the project, which will include 12 ultra-luxury private villas.
Guests of the villas will benefit from a dedicated concierge service, helping to attract high-net-worth travelers from Europe, the Middle East, and other regions.
A New Boost for Regional Tourism
The opening of NALU Latchi is an important milestone not only for Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean but also for the wider Paphos region.
In recent years, Latchi and the Akamas Peninsula have continued to strengthen their position on Cyprus’s tourism map. The development of high-quality hospitality infrastructure helps attract visitors throughout the year rather than only during the peak summer season.
Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean CEO Roni Aloni described the launch of the new resort as a major milestone for the company, emphasizing that the project reflects confidence in the future of the tourism industry and a commitment to setting new standards of hospitality in the Mediterranean.
With the opening of NALU, Latchi has gained more than just a new hotel—it has welcomed one of Cyprus’s most ambitious tourism developments, capable of significantly enhancing the region’s appeal to international visitors and strengthening the island’s position in the premium tourism market.
