Last week, Landbank Analytics published a detailed report on the number and value of properties sold in Cyprus between January and September 2024.
Based on this data, local experts analysed and determined the average price of new houses and apartments in each of the island's five cities. It turned out that the most expensive new houses were sold in Limassol. The average price of these properties was 696.2 thousand euros. This is followed by Paphos - 615.6 thousand euros, Larnaca - 336.6 thousand euros, the free areas of Famagusta - 331.4 thousand euros and finally Nicosia - 309.3 thousand euros.
As far as apartments are concerned, the most expensive apartments were also sold in Limassol. Their average price was 558.2 thousand euros. In second place was again Paphos - 332.6 thousand euros, followed by Nicosia (198.4 thousand euros). This was followed by Larnaca and the free areas of Famagusta - 195.8 thousand euro and 162.8 thousand euro respectively.
In turn, the average price of new houses sold in Cyprus from January to September 2024 was 457.8 thousand euros, and apartments - 289.6 thousand euros. It is worth noting that this analysis includes properties purchased both for personal use and as investments for rental purposes.
