The project "Smart Parking System" was completed to participate in the Municipality of Limassol, the Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company, and Stratagem Energy Ltd in the European Civitas Destinations program.
According to an announcement by the Municipality of Limassol, the measure concerns the installation of equipment and electronic signs outside each parking lot to measure and display the availability and the structure of directional signs on roads-arteries to the city center.
Simultaneously, these data are available in real-time in the Municipality application for mobile phones "Citizen of Limassol."
Specifically, the new "smart" system was installed in the parking lots of Spyrou Araouzou Street (Next to the Citizen Service Office), in the three parking lots of the Landfill, in Andrea Themistokleous Street (1st Municipal Market), and in Kyriakou O Heroes).
The signposts were placed on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue, Paphos Street, Nikou and Despina Pattihi, Petrou Tsirou, Agia Fylaxeos, Griva Digeni, and 28th October Avenue.
