In June 2020, property sales in Cyprus returned to levels of February 2020 following restrictions imposed by the coronation pandemic.
According to the Land Registry, 1296 cases were registered in June 2020, almost twice as many as in May 2020 (626) and more than in February 2020 (1216). A total of 4,859 real estate cases have been registered since the beginning of 2020.
The most popular city in June 2020 is Nicosia.
An increase was also recorded in Nicosia with 471 real estate sales in June 2020, while in May 2020 it was only 181. In total for the year, real estate sales reached 1476.

Limassol seems to be recovering as in June 2020.
It recorded 335 real estate sales, quite a number with the number in February 2020 which was 343. In total, the entries in the Land Registry reached 1320.
As for Larnaca, it added a few more sales in June 2020 (189) compared to May 2020 (88). Since the beginning of the year, 832 sales have been recorded.
Famagusta had the lowest number of cases in June 2020 (73), but well above May 2020 (33). A total of 281 cases were registered in the first half of the year.
Finally, Paphos has recovered, with 228 entries in June 2020 in the Land Registry from 142 in May 2020. In the first half of the year, 950 real estate cases were registered.
