Fifty-eight-year-old Greek Cypriot, Christakis Asiikkis, while in a cage of a lifting machine at a height of about five meters, under conditions under investigation, lost his balance and fell to the ground.
He was rushed to Larnaca General Hospital, where doctors on duty confirmed his death.
The Police, in collaboration with the Labor Inspection Department, are conducting investigations into the circumstances and the exact causes of the accident.
