2024 has been a very productive year for the hotel industry in Cyprus, with new hotels opening as well as major renovations of existing hotels. Last year, three hotels were opened on the island and four others underwent major renovations. Of these, four are in Paphos, one in Larnaca, one in Ayia Napa and one in Limassol. It is worth noting that all the hotels have at least four stars.
Cali Resort & Spa
This chic 5-star adults-only hotel is located in Paphos. The hotel complex was opened on the site of the former Crown Resorts Horizon. It has 200 luxury deluxe rooms. Guests can choose from two types of accommodation: half board and all inclusive. Guests of the new hotel can unwind in the cosy spa centre or relax in the sauna and several swimming pools. Fitness enthusiasts can visit the state-of-the-art gym or play on the tennis courts. The hotel has 3 bars and a chic restaurant.
Mercure Larnaka City Hotel
The Mercure Larnaka City Hotel is located in a prestigious area, just a five-minute walk from the sea and the famous Finikoudes beach in Larnaka. One of the main advantages of the new hotel is its proximity to the airport. The hotel is designed to cater for both business and leisure travellers. There are 42 rooms and 84 beds in the building. A new 4-star hotel graces Paphos. The chic hotel is beautifully located in Coral Bay, just ten metres from the sea and the beach. The hotel has 149 rooms, including 75 suites and 74 superior rooms. The comfortable rooms overlook the grounds and have side and direct sea views.

Guests have access to: spa centre, hydromassage with chromotherapy, hammam, jacuzzi, sauna, children's club. Alexander The Great
Another luxury hotel will be available to Paphos residents and visitors in 2024. The 4-star Alexander The Great Beach Hotel has opened in the town after a radical renovation and is situated in a picturesque seafront location. The hotel's refurbished rooms (152 in total) are elegantly decorated and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Some have balconies overlooking the sea, the medieval castle and the old fishing port of Paphos.
