Limassol will get its Central Hospital overhauled.
This was recently announced by the State Health Service Organization (ΟΚΥπΥ).
The organization announced a new bid for the implementation of a large-scale project. Companies can apply for participation in the competition until March 13, 2023 on the ΟΚΥπΥ's website.
The cost of the project is estimated at 23,546,100 euros. It will be paid by the European Union.

It is worth noting that the tender bid architectural and engineering services, civil works, as well as 12-year maintenance of the hospital.
According to the release, the interior of the hospital building will be renovated, the sewerage and power supply systems will be fixed and renewed, and the infrastructure for people with disabilities will be installed. In addition, the project includes the improvement of the hospital's plot, the purchase of new medical equipment, furniture and supplies for the medical facility.
As you may remember, the 7-storey building of Limassol General Hospital, with an area of more than 40 thousand m2, is located in Polemidia. The hospital has more than 20 departments, which today employ more than 120 doctors and other medical staff.
