The Cyprus resort of Minthis has been awarded the prestigious title of Best Golf Resort on the Island and has been ranked 20th among the Best Golf Resorts in Europe 2025 by the authoritative international ranking by Leading Courses.
This recognition is based on real reviews and ratings from golfers and travellers looking for the perfect place to enjoy a round of golf. Minthis Resort was recognised for its high quality of service, unique atmosphere, first class facilities and overall level of service. Its picturesque setting against the lush natural backdrop of Paphos and the harmonious blend of architecture and landscape create a truly inspiring experience for players of all levels.
The 2025 ranking is the ninth edition of the annual 'Best Golf Resorts in Europe' list, which is compiled by the popular Leadingcourses.com platform based on an integrated scoring system incorporating golf course ratings and accommodation levels (based on Booking.com data). It is worth noting that Minthis found itself in the company of golf giants such as Costa Navarino (Greece), The Gleneagles Hotel (Scotland) and Finca Cortesin (Spain), confirming its ability to compete at the level of the best European destinations.
We are particularly proud that Minthis has been ranked 20th in the Top 100 Golf Resorts in Europe 2025. This achievement has been made possible by the efforts of our entire team, who are committed to providing a unique golfing experience, complemented by exquisite service, high standards of accommodation and exceptional attention to detail. We are very grateful to our guests for their positive feedback, which has helped us achieve this important international recognition,' said Evangelia Iliadou, Chief Executive Officer of Pafilia.
In addition to golf, Minthis offers its guests a wide range of leisure and recreational activities, from a luxury spa complex and gastronomic restaurants to eco-friendly residential villas, hiking trails and cultural activities.
Minthis Resort has not only strengthened its position in sports tourism, but also Paphos' status as a centre for quality, sustainable and luxury holidays in Cyprus. This is another step towards positioning the island as one of the leading destinations for discerning travellers throughout Europe.
As a reminder, Minthis Golf Club is the first golf club to be built in Cyprus.
Its construction was completed at the end of April 1994. Minthis Golf Club is located in the village of Tsada, in the Paphos area, and is part of the Minthis Resort development, which also includes exclusive residences, private villas, suites, tennis courts, sports courts, spa, bars, shops, relaxation room, horse riding area, jogging tracks, forest walks and a wellness centre.
Minthis does not offer its residents the standard island apartments or villas. Exclusive facilities are being created under the guidance of Woods Bagot, the renowned architectural firm that designed the world's tallest building, the Nakheel Tower in Dubai.
Inspired by the graceful lines of traditional Cypriot dwellings, Minthis Residences are a group of uniquely designed structures that are customised for each owner. They are built with the key points of abundant light, breathtaking views and luxury in mind. The views that unfold in front of the owners are accentuated by large windows. Natural materials are authentic and pleasing to the touch. Terraces and central courtyards invite peaceful reflection.
The villas at Minthis take full advantage of the magnificent landscape that surrounds them. As well as offering unparalleled panoramic views, they are designed for modern living. Spacious layouts allow you to combine entertaining with family life and find privacy when you need it.
