Derova Ltd has announced a massive €13.5 million project to expand and modernise the Crystal Springs Beach Hotel in Protaras.
According to the release, the work will take 12 months to complete and will be carried out on a 14,858m2 plot of land in the Vrisoudia area (Paralimni Municipality).
The project aims to increase the hotel's capacity, improve its infrastructure and enhance the comfort of its guests. The renovation of the hotel complex will be carried out in 3 phases:
- The first phase includes the construction of an underground level, where a heated swimming pool will be located, optimisation of utilities including a new water drainage system.
- The second phase includes the redesign of the entrance area, the enlargement of the bar area, the reconstruction of the kitchen and restaurant area (reduction of the area, improvement of the space organisation), the equipping of new swimming pools, the enlargement of the car park and the improvement of the adjacent area.
- The third phase will involve the construction of a 26-metre building (basement, ground floor + 6 storeys), the creation of additional rooms and a new restaurant on the roof with a panoramic view, and the renovation of the existing building (modification of balconies, installation of glass railings, etc.).
According to Derova Ltd, the company aims to improve the level of service at Crystal Springs Beach, making it more comfortable and modern. The project is expected to expand the tourism potential of Protaras and increase the attractiveness of the region for holidaymakers and investors.
Work on the project will commence once the necessary permits have been obtained from the Cyprus Environment Ministry.
