The Department of the Registrar of Companies in Cyprus has announced that annual fees for organizations registered with it will be completely abolished from 2024.
However, taxes for the years 2011-2023 will still have to be paid.
Specifically, the authority said that according to Law No. 25(I)/2024, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic on March 15, annual fees for companies registered with the Registrar are abolished from 2024.
Annual fees for the years 2011-2023 continue to apply, the Registrar reminded.
For companies that have already paid the annual fee for 2024, a refund will be issued.
For online payments made through JCC, the additional amount will be refunded directly to the card used for payment without any further action on the part of the applicant.
In the case of payments made at the Treasury of the Department of Company Registration and Intellectual Property, the amount will be refunded to the applicant's bank account upon submission of Form KE1, payment receipt and payment authorization form and a copy of the bank statement.
