In Paphos in the Coral Bay area, the reconstruction of the former Crown Resorts Horizon hotel is actively underway.
Already in May 2024 on its basis in the city will open its doors a new luxury 5-star hotel called Cali Resort & Spa.
According to the executive director of the LouisPlc Group, which is now the owner of the resort property, after the renovation, guests of the new hotel will be able to relax in the cozy spa center or relax in the sauna, they will also have several swimming pools.
Fitness enthusiasts will be able to visit the gym, equipped with the latest technology, or play on the tennis courts. There will be 3 bars and a chic restaurant on the territory of the hotel.
Kostakis Loizou noted that LouisPlc is carrying out major renovations in the hotel to transform it into a modern 5-star hotel. By the way, Crown Resorts Horizon had 4 stars. The hotel was built in 2002. It consists of a main 4-story building and an additional 3-story building with elevators.
There were 149 rooms in the main building and 66 rooms in the additional building. Among them:
- Mountain View - one-room rooms with bathroom and balcony, with mountain views;
- Side Sea View - one-room rooms with bathroom and balcony, with partial sea view;
- Sea View - one-room rooms with bathroom and balcony, sea view.
There are also interconnecting rooms and rooms for people with reduced mobility.
The luxury 5-story hotel is expected to have an adults-only format after the renovation. It will have 200 luxurious deluxe rooms available. Two types of accommodation will be offered to guests: half board and premium all-inclusive.
It should be noted that when people are looking for a destination for their vacation, they are increasingly paying attention to the possibility of a relaxed vacation, away from the hustle and bustle, so hotels in the format "for adults only" are becoming more and more popular every day.
This type of hotel offers an alternative to traditional hotels and guarantees a relaxed stay for its guests, as well as an extensive program of leisure and entertainment, unencumbered by the presence of children or family scenes that are so often seen in public places.
Cyprus can boast only a handful of hotels of this format so far, however, the trend of building "adults only" hotels in the country is clearly gaining momentum.
