Following a major renovation, the popular resort hotel Atlantica Sancta Napa Resort in Ayia Napa has reopened. The updated complex began welcoming guests on April 1, offering a modern level of service and improved infrastructure.
The hotel is located in the center of the resort town, near Pantachou Beach, and is aimed at adult guests, couples, groups of friends, and families seeking a comfortable seaside holiday.
What has changed after the renovation
The renovation affected key areas of the hotel, including rooms, restaurants, and public spaces. Guests now have access to new room categories designed in line with modern standards of comfort and style.
Special attention has been given to gastronomy. A new Italian à la carte restaurant, Pesto, has opened at the hotel, along with an updated buffet-style restaurant. These changes enhance the resort’s appeal for tourists choosing Cyprus for their holidays. In addition, two new pool bars have been added, making relaxation by the pool even more comfortable and diverse.

Modern infrastructure and comfort
As part of the renovation, an additional building was constructed with a completely new lobby, improving the overall perception of the hotel and raising the level of service. All changes are aimed at creating a more convenient and modern environment for guests. The hotel has been cooperating with Atlantica Hotels & Resorts since 2006 and has become one of the region’s recognizable resorts over time.
Why this matters for Cyprus tourism
The reopening of the renovated hotel confirms the active development of Cyprus’s tourism sector in 2026. Amid strong competition among Mediterranean destinations, hotels are focusing on service quality, new leisure concepts, and modern amenities.
Experts note that such investments increase the attractiveness of Ayia Napa as one of the island’s key tourist destinations and contribute to the growth of visitor numbers, particularly those willing to spend more on comfortable holidays.
