In Peyia, on the west coast of Cyprus, where the endless sky merges with the blue Mediterranean Sea, a new residential complex is being developed. Designed to embody comfort, privacy, and elegant architecture, the complex is scheduled for completion soon.
On Wednesday, June 11, the Cyprus Department of Environment issued a permit for the construction of 16 two-story villas with private pools in this area of Paphos. The €4 million complex will be constructed by Maispa Construction and Land Development Ltd.
According to the developer's press release, the project encompasses not only the construction of luxury homes but also the development of extensive infrastructure surrounding them. The project will include an internal road network, landscaped areas, a modern wastewater treatment plant, and all the technical and engineering solutions necessary for the complex to run smoothly.
The project's location is particularly advantageous, as the development site is situated just 150 meters from the Natura 2000 nature reserve on the Akamas Peninsula.
Despite its proximity to this area, environmental experts have concluded that the project will not have a negative impact on the unique flora and fauna, subject to certain conditions and restrictions.
They also noted that the landscape has already undergone significant changes as a result of previous human intervention. Following 2021, it appears that a substantial clearing of vegetation was conducted in this area. Consequently, the project does not impact pristine ecosystems or disrupt the delicate natural balance.
The construction of the complex is scheduled to be completed within 16 months of obtaining all necessary documents. The project is designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally sustainable, exemplifying a harmonious integration of modern technology with natural surroundings.
