Aktea Tourist Enterprises Ltd has submitted a project for the reconstruction of a large hotel complex named Aktea Beach Village to the Cyprus Department of Environment.
According to the release, Aktea Tourist Enterprises Ltd intends to demolish 12 buildings on the territory of the existing hotel, and to erect a new modern elite 5-star building with 182 rooms and underground parking.


The renovation will be carried out in 3 stages:
- demolition of old buildings and construction of a new one,
- construction of a restaurant, bar, kitchen and terrace on the 1st floor, as well as a themed restaurant on the 2nd floor.
- transformation of the mezzanine floor into a mechanical one.
Among other things, the company intends to carry out a complete modernization of the remaining 72 rooms. After the completion of the reconstruction, the capacity of the hotel complex will be 254 rooms.
The preliminary cost of the project is estimated at €2 million euros, and the approximate implementation period is 18 months.
