On Thursday 5 August, the Cyprus Department of Public Works announced a tender for the construction of a new building to for the Department of Lands and Surveys Headquarter Offices.
The project involves the design, construction, and maintenance of the building for 12 years.
The building will be erected in the Aglandjia, Nicosia. The area will be 12,620 m². The plan provides for the construction of a 5-storey building with two underground levels that will be used for parking.

The project includes:
- Offices, archives and warehouses.
- Conference rooms, gym and showroom.
- Underground parking.
- Outdoor work / landscaping.
- Utility lines for both building and outdoor areas.
According to preliminary data, the cost of the new building for the Department of Lands and Surveys is estimated at 18.5 million euros + VAT.
The construction is expected to take 36 months from the date of signing the contract with the developer who wins the tender.
