A 3-story hotel will be demolished in Paphos for construction of a new tourist complex.
According to the release, the project provides for the construction of three 9-story buildings with 57 apartments.
The complex will be erected on a plot located on the coast of Geroskipou, in the T1c urban area, where tourist, commercial and residential development is allowed.
According to the developer company, the demolition of old buildings should take about three months. Duration of construction of new buildings is 12 months.
There is no natural vegetation near the development area, which means that there are no obstacles to the implementation of the new project. The nearest equipped beach is located just 450 meters from the new hotel complex.
The developers noted that buildings will not shade nearby houses from the sun. In the spring and autumn, shading will be observed in the west until 8 a.m., and in winter - in the west until 11 a.m.
The area of the new buildings will be 1,632 m2, which is much smaller than the existing structure.
According to the local Department of Urban Development, the proposed architectural solution is much better than the old one, so the implementation of the new project will undoubtedly improve the aesthetics and quality of the area.
It must be said that the new project has already received approval from many competent services, including: Department of Labor Inspection, Department of Forests, Department of Water Development, ETEK, Federation of Environmental Organizations, Department of Urban Planning and Housing.
