The Cyprus Department of Environmental Protection has approved the construction of the new Metropolitan Private Hospital.
The project is owned by Stargem Group.
According to the developer, the large-scale medical facility will be built in the village of Mesongi, located in the Paphos area. The project includes two buildings: a hospital building and an office unit. The total area of the plot allocated for the development is 27,426 m2. Of this, 21,780 m2 will be occupied by high-rise buildings.
The private hospital will have the following facilities:
- hemodialysis department;
- endoscopy department;
- X-ray shockwave remote lithotripsy department;
- diagnostic department;
- intensive care department;
- Medical Rehabilitation Department;
- X-ray radiology department;
- obstetrics department;
- surgical department;
- emergency department;
- morgue.
In addition, the medical facility will provide comfortable rooms for patients and offices for doctors.

As stated in the environmental impact study, the project aims to provide high-quality, integrated, efficient, and safe medical services by highly qualified professionals using the latest technology.
Doctors at Metropolitan Private Hospital are expected to see patients daily from 9 am to 8 pm. At the same time, the first aid department will be open round the clock.
The project will start as soon as all necessary permits are obtained.
