Ipsonas industrial zone in Limassol continues to actively develop.
Recently, the local municipality announced that for the convenience of parents working in the industrial zone, a new children's center will be created.
The total area of the development will be 3.5 thousand m2. The one-story building will have 4 groups for children from 6 to 13 years old. As well as a kitchen and auxiliary premises. Next to the building, there will be a playground of 1000 m2 and a small parking lot. As expected, the center will serve about 100 children. The center will provide safe playtime and care for children whose parents work. Experienced teachers will help strengthen creativity and social skills.
The project implementation period will be 12 months. The construction cost is estimated at 1.1 million euros. It will be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Municipality of Ipsonas.
The realization of this important project is very much part of the social policy, which is among the priorities of our municipality. We have found a contractor and the construction works will start within a few days," Ipsonas Mayor Pantelis Georgiou said
There is already a similar center in the industrial zone of Agios Athanasios in Limassol. The Center for the Protection and Employment of Children is located on Iapetou Street.
