A new brewery will be built in Paphos.
On Monday, April 3, the Cypriot Department of Environment issued a permit for the project.
According to a release from the developer company, the brewery will be built in the picturesque village of Miliou, near the Ayii Anargyri Spa Resort.
The project involves the construction of a 1-story building with a total area of 400 m2. It will have:
- Snack bar with a total area of 155 m2, which will include: a hall with 104 seats, 6 bathrooms and outdoor areas (terraces) of 218 m2.
- A brewery of 70 m2 with brew room, fermentation room, bottling area and liquids storage tank.
- Outbuildings of 52 m2.
For the convenience of employees and customers, the new brewery will provide a spacious parking lot for 22 parking spaces, 5 of which will be allocated for people with disabilities.

The total area of the development site will be 21,106 m2. The area around the brewery will be landscaped.
Beer production will take place 2-3 times a week, for 50 weeks a year. It is expected that the annual volume of beer production will be from 25 thousand to 50 thousand liters. For beer production malt (barley malt), hops, yeast and water will be used.
Part of the production of the brewery will be sold in stores on the island, and part will be sold in a snack bar.
The cost of the project is estimated at 300 thousand euros. Construction of the brewery will begin in the coming months. The facility is planned to be completed by the middle of 2024.
