A new boutique hotel called Amyth of Nicosia will open in the Cypriot capital in March 2025.
This was announced recently by a representative of the Thanos Hotels chain, which will manage the chamber hotel.
Hotel Amyth of Nicosia will be located in the heart of the city, on Grigoriou Street, within the medieval Venetian walls. Its convenient location makes it an ideal place to explore the cultural and business life of Nicosia. There is much to see nearby: the Museum of Byzantine Art, the Cyprus Ethnological Museum and the Old Town.
Interestingly, Amyth of Nicosia is housed in an old mansion that has been completely restored and modernised.
The architectural design was developed by the office of Iraklis Papachristou, while the interior and exterior decoration was entrusted to Maria Neophytou. A total of 10 cosy rooms will be available for guests. As the architecture of the historic building has defined the style and main concept of the interior design, reflecting the link between the past and the present, various unique elements (arches, patios, tiled floors, grand staircase, decorative walls and ceilings with frescoes) will be preserved during the renovation process.
The rooms of Amyth of Nicosia are characterised by the attention to detail and care for the comfort of the guests. Starting with comfortable mattresses and soft pillows, everything will be designed to make the guests' holiday an unforgettable experience. The focal point of the new boutique hotel will be the multi-functional area on the ground floor, which will house the reception, bar, lounge, library and restaurant with terrace.
It should be noted that Amyth of Nicosia will operate under the umbrella of the Thanos Hotels chain, which includes the 5-star Anassa Hotel in Latchi and the Almira and Annabel hotels in Paphos.
