The Cyprus Department of Environment has approved the construction of a new hotel in the resort of Ayia Napa.
According to the release, Abelia Campus Ltd and ACC Hadjichristou Bros Ltd will build a 5-star hotel called Marina Bay on a private plot of land that does not require rent to operate.
The hotel will have 336 rooms of different categories with 668 beds. Out of 334 rooms: 36 will be reserved for people with disabilities, 44 rooms will have private pools, and 16 will have a jacuzzi.
It is expected that the construction cost of the proposed project will not exceed 20 million euros, and the project will be financed from private funds.
Among other things, the proposed building will include:
- 334 rooms, including those with swimming pools and jacuzzi;
- spa area;
- indoor pool for adults and children;
- outdoor pools for adults and children;
- waiting area and hall;
- multifunctional hall;
- rest rooms;
- three restaurants;
- two kitchens;
- common sanitary areas;
- premises for staff;
- auxiliary rooms and engine room;
- the shops.
The hotel will consist of a basement, basement and seven floors. For the convenience of hotel visitors, the developer will equip a spacious parking lot with an area of 8400 m2 for 320 cars.
The building area will be 61 351 m2, and the building area - 23 389 m2.
It should be noted that at a distance of 0.2 km south-west of the future hotel is the Ayia Napa marina, about 1.3 km to the west - the mixed tourist complex Sun City Spa Resorts & Residences, at a distance of about 300 meters to to the east - the tourism division of Dome Investments.
In addition, at a distance of about 1 km east of Marina Bay is the beach of Agia Thekla, and at a distance of about 1.25 km to the west - the beach of Agios Efstratios.
